One of my absolute favorite things to do is to put together unique gift guides because I personally love finding unique items that aren’t commonly gifted. Christmas is right around the corner, let’s get an early start on all that Christmas shopping! I am passionate about giving you a sustainable gift idea list, with timeless items that people are sure to use! I have been working on this list for a LONG time, so I have a list of a whole bunch of amazing gifts I have found across the internet for you to enjoy!

Before we dive deep into the gift guide, one thing I’ve really been thinking about, as we head into the Christmas season this year is how I am preparing my heart for what matters most. One thing that really matters to me is a little malnutrition clinic tucked into Antigua, Guatemala called Casa Jackson. Casa Jackson was a place that I volunteered at, and eventually brought Grant back to, so he could also love on all of the sweet children who were severely malnourished. Casa Jackson Hospital for Malnourished Children has helped over 2,000 children recover from malnutrition and life-threatening starvation. Some children are sent from local hospitals, some are brought by their parents, and some are left on their doorstep. They provide intensive residential survival, medical, and long-term recovery-care to severely malnourished infants and children from across Central America.

So, maybe a gift this year can be donating to Casa Jackson and then printing off a picture of their website, wrapping it up, and having a deep, heartfelt conversation about the things that other children are currently facing across our world. Not just in Antigua, Guatemala, but in our very own cities. Grant and I have long supported Casa Jackson, and I would love if you would consider it too.

Birdie Alarm- My in laws gifted me this alarm last year, and its the best! I take it with me every run, and it allows me to feel so safe as I run. Birdie’s modern design is easy-to-use. To activate, remove the top pin. To deactivate, replace it. The alarm can be used multiple times. Batteries are replaceable and last 40 continual minutes.

Coop Pillow- You will know why this has insanely good reviews when it arrives at your doorstep! I purchased for Grant for his birthday and he LOVES it! We tried a variety of pillows and nothing was cutting it. This is customizable upon arrival and we have been super impressed!

Motorized Robot for window drapes- Have you seen these? these are awesome! You can control them from your phone or have the blinds manually set to open every morning at designated time. These allow your curtains to slide more smoothly and still make your curtains smart in seconds without the need for screws, nuts, or bolts. Please be aware that square rods are not supported.

Men’s Mountain Classic Down Hooded Jacket- The doubly cozy down jacket. They added plush sherpa fleece to their best-value down jacket for extraordinary cozy warmth when temperatures dip.

Eufy Car Vacuum- Have kids? Want a clean car? Buy this awesome little vacuum. We purchased a couple of months ago and I keep it tucked in my car and it has been such a game changer. I love having a clean car and this purchase was 100% worth it for our family.

Nature fresh charcoal bags- Have some stale smells around your house? A teenager? Grab yourself some of these. We love them and think they work super well!

Lumineux– Purchased these and these do not hurt your teeth like Crest Whitestrips. Highly recommend!

Menthol Infused Fitness Cube- I was SO intrigued when I saw this. It is a fitness cube that you can use on your sore muscles and joint after (or before) your workout. This menthol-infused cube is said to reduce pain and inflammation. Massage the soothing square onto game-day or post-workout DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness), and its ingredients get right to work.

Salt and Pepper Mill Pair- I have been eyeing these for years. The price is definitely an investment but these things will last for the long haul! I love that they are solid brass and will show age and patina over time. These are designed to grind peppercorns and coarse salt rather than smash in order to maximize the spice’s flavor and aroma.

I love that it is all wooden and it comes with adorable felt and wooden money. This would make the perfect gift as it is $30! Run! I have a feeling this is going to sell out…fast!

Pass the Pigs- Did you own this 1990’s game? It was my favorite childhood game! They still make it, and its definitely going to be purchased for Sadie! I can’t wait to play!

Boat Swing- We LOVE this company and we own several of their items. I have been eyeing this swing for our kiddos for awhile now. I know they would love this!

Home Alone Lego Set- This would be another great family gift. It IS pricey for sure, but would be such a fun investment piece to use year after year. I picture building this with the kids and watching the movies together every year!

Plasma Car– LOOOVE these cars! We want to snag one for Hudson for Christmas. they can move like a regular bike or children can put their feet up and move the bike with the handlebars.

Nantucket Bike Basket- These children’s bike baskets are adorable and so charming!

Horse Swing- I absolutely love this. I saw this sweet tire horse swing hanging in someones front yard as we were driving through the country and fell in love with it. What a unique, fun gift that children are sure to love.

Swurfer swing- I loove this swing! If I could fill our whole yard up with swings, I would. Kids love them and I think they are an amazing thing to invest in and add to your property because you can get years of use ( and lots of joy) out of them!

Stress ball- My niece received these as a gift for her birthday and they were amazing! They are all different and so fun to play with.

Oaki Rain Suit- “Where Outdoor Explorers are born.” Kids can explore in the rain, jump in the puddles without getting wet. Oaki brand is supposed to be the best!

Wooden Doctor’s Kit- This kit is wonderful! It comes with a wide variety of pieces that can make pretend play fun and interesting.

Rainbow Stones-These rainbow stones are perfect for kids! You can stack them, use the activity cards to complete the animal on the card, can be used for counting practice, or for a variety of uses improving fine motor skills.

Mindware Imagination Patterns- These are AWESOME! Kids can use their imagination to form patterns on the activity cards using the magnetic blocks or they can come up with a fun design of their own!

Magnetic Game- There is a wide variety of these made by the HABA company but this is a fan favorite!

ADULT WISH LIST:

Shark Navigator- This deal is insane! Have you heard about the Shark Navigator?! Its the number one most loved vacuum! The reviews are always amazing! And when someone asks for vacuum recommendations, its always the most recommended. I have watched several videos on how this vacuum works compared to other vacuums on the market and its INSANE how much this one vacuums up compared to other ones.

Living Proof Dry Volume- I have been buying this for years. Its the only hair product I use aside from hairspray. I LOVE it. Its never on sale, so this is a great time to grab it.

Mighty Patch- I purchased these as these are the BEST for taking away pimples overnight. Somehow these amazing little patches suck out whats going on underneath the skin, while you sleep at night! Highly recommend and a great price!

Nugget Ice Maker- This ice maker is $100 off! Last time they ran this special, they ran out, so snag yours fast if its something you had your eye on!

Blow Up Outdoor Movie Theater- Outdoor inflatable movie screen, need I say more?

Apple Watch Band- Chris Loves Julia recommended this inexpensive watch band. Love this so much!

Fruit Fly Trap- RANDOM, I know LOL. But these have amazing reviews and I couldn’t pass up throwing them on this list!

Kelty Outdoor Loveseat– Watching a lot of games on the sidelines? This perfect two seater is great for games, bonfires, camping, etc.

Couch Coaster– You know you always need a place to put your cup. This couch coaster is perfect and can fit over the arm of any couch.

Muslin throw- Love adding pieces like this to the foot of the bed. It brings so much warmth and texture to a space!

Souper Cubes- A great way to freeze a homemade batch of soup, quinoa, or rice. Pop out one serving and take it into work!

Amazon Frying Pan- We have tried the Always Pan and recently ours has started to stick and unfortunately the company will not replace it. So, we have had to find other alternatives for a good pan, and this one is calling our name! An influencer (Naptimekitchen) has shouted this one from the rooftops for the past several years. Its cheap, and its quality is amazing. Definitely snagging one of these!

My Quotable Kid- A parent’s journal of memorable sayings from their children. I always wish I had a place to put all of the quotable things Sadie says. If I jot them down in a book, this will be SO fun to look back on one day.

Oil Dispenser- Oil dispenser with barbecue brush. I watched a video on this little guy and its amazing! Its a great tool to use, especially if you want to grease the pan before cooking. With all of the chemicals of an aeresol can of oil contains, you can use this instead and us fresh olive oil instead!

Polaroid- How fun would it be to have one of these to snap random keepsake photos?! Love all of the joy that this can bring and all that it can capture as well!

Electric Kettle– An affordable electric kettle that is sleek AND has great reviews? Yes please!

Qubii– Plugs into your phone and pictures can be transferred directly to this cube!

Mighty Patch- I have these and these are truly a game changer. If I see a blemish coming on, I put one of these patches on overnight, and wake up and the blemish is gone! Check out those awesome reviews.

Cast Iron – Love this Cast Iron pot! Its wonderful to use in the oven for roasts, sourdough bread., etc.

Miss Mouths Messy Eater.. this stuff is the BOMB. It works especially well on fruit stains. I read the reviews and it works really well on wine stains as well. You spray it on and you can literally watch the fruit stain vanish into thin air. Don’t really know how it works but it’s magic.

Frother- This frother is amazing! I heat up my coffee creamer and froth it every morning and it makes my coffee so much more enjoyable. I use this every single day! It’s well worth the $10 in my opinion.

Cerave Face Wash- I recently started taking better care of my skin and I LOVE this face wash. I have extremely sensitive skin, and am very prone to breakouts but this has kept my breakouts at bay!

The Original Makeup Eraser- I have been using this for years and it works so incredibly well! All you do is wet it, and it removes your makeup. And once its dirty, throw it in the wash and its good as new! Will buy these for the rest of my life…yep, they are that good!

Jo Malone (Bitter Mandarin)- Grant suprised me with a new perfume for my birthday. It was between Burberry Her (the original) or Jo Malone…and Jo Malone took the cake. I am a Jo Malone fanatic! However, Burberry Her is an AMAZING fragrance as well. My local Sephora said it is their bestseller!

Versace Dylan Bleu- Recommended to me by a friend for a gift for Grant and it smells SO good! Grant loves it too.

Leather Belt- Grant loves this timeless, leather belt. It’s the best!

Magnetic Phone Holder– I saw one of these in a friends car and had to test it out for myself because I always misplace my phone in the car or it falls down between the cracks on the side of the seat…but not anymore! These are well worth the $13!

Peeps Eyeglass Cleaning Tool- These were exclusively used by NASA and are now made available to the public. If you have glasses, you need definitely will love these!

Dual Sleek Socket– Behind Sadie’s bed sits an electrical outlet and it is a PAIN to unplug something. this thing is worth every penny. I never knew they made these until recently and man alive…I’m thankful for this invention. Best part? It gives you lots of outlet plug ins, and then the bed (or couch) can go completely against the wall.

Handheld Pull Mini Mincer– Perfect for recipes that call for fresh minced garlic, etc.

Cherry Pitter- MUST HAVE. Can’t say it enough. If you eat cherries, this is a life changer.

Nippies- The PERFECT size! Don’t want to do too much explaining (LOL) so i’ll just let you take a look at the reviews. These are amazing!

Fabric shower curtain liner- Tired of using plastic curtain liners? These were recommended to me by a professional house cleaner! I love that you take these off and bleach them or throw them in Oxi clean and then can hang them right back up. The best!

Oven Mitts- My favorite. I have gifted these before with a cookbook and baking utensils. These make a great gift, no matter the occasion.

Organizational Bags- We use these to organize Sadie’s craft drawer, our family board games, and puzzles. Love that everything fits, that they are see-through, and that we can use these to seamlessly organize everything!

Pink Stuff- I discovered this through my sister and she discovered it on Tik Tok. I have tried all of the “Pink Stuff” products but my favorite has to be the paste. It’s the only things that works well at getting the grime off of our electric stove top and helps make our kitchen and laundry sinks good as new!

Stanley 40 oz.- I finally bit the bullet and asked for one for my birthday and its my favorite. Its the only cup that keeps my ice all.day. long.

Folex-How do we keep our carpet white? Folex. Its been an absolute life changer…especially with a son who LOVES to play in all of my plants.

Cryo Ball- Pop this in the freezer and have an awesome deep tissue massage.

Retractable Hose Reel- These automatic hose reels are a HUGE game changer! No more reeling in the hose and getting annoyed with a long, tangled hose. We love this (so much that we bought 2)!

Black and Decker handheld vac- We LOOOVE this vacuum and use it multiple times a day…especially with kids…and all those crumbs.

My favorite nail polish colors:

A neutral Taupe that is sooo pretty and simple! Click the picture to check it out!

My go to toenail polish! I love having a fun, bright color on my toes, especially on vacation. This color is my go to.

Nail polish remover- I started using this 7 years ago and have never turned back! This works amazing and doesn’t have the strong, horrible smell like regular nail polish remover!

CHILDREN MUST HAVES:

Thermoflask- We bought the kids version of these for Sadie and it has been the best cup! It never leaks, holds the perfect amount of water, and keeps her drink nice and cold! It is very easy to wash as well.

Pop Up High Chair- We finally decided to buy one of these for our vacation and I don’t know how we lived without one of these before. Its SO convenient, super easy to wash (I washed the tray in the dishwasher), and the perfect high chair to keep in the back of your trunk when needed.

Mushie Bibs- We looooove these brand of bibs and I found a very similar knock off. You cannot beat the price…and check out all of those amazing reviews! 5 stars for a reason!

Portable Potty-I have shared this before but we bought this for Sadie when she was potty training. I have tried several different bags to fit in here, and the best bags are the OXO bags because they have an absorbent liner inside of the bag. We still religiously use this when we are out and about. Its so much easier using this then having Sadie navigate a porta potty or a public restroom. HIGHLY recommend!

Yookidoo- This is something we found over the summer and love it! You place it on the side of the tub, and once the tub is filled or partially filled, then you (or your child) can press a button and it turns on running water so your child can have fun playing in their own faucet!

Richard Scarry- Our favorite books! These were my favorite books when I was little and Sadie will get lost looking at the pictures in this book. She loves them! And there are so many great Richard Scarry books out there, this one is one of our favorites!

Wherever You Go I Want You To Know- Hudson received this book from a dear friend and it is the absolute sweetest. It is faith based and has the sweetest message written through the pages.

Shine a light books- These are SO fun. Sadie would read these with us every single night if she had the choice. For each page, You can shine a flashlight behind a page to reveal the hidden pictures. Wouldn’t this be adorable paired with a children’s flashlight for a gift? Also, they have several titles! This one and the Outer Space book are some of our favorites.

Lovevery Toys- We love these toys and now Target is carrying individual toys from their wonderful play kits!

Paint Sticks- I know I have shared these before but these are awesome. They glide on smooth and after a minute or so, they dry right up. Adults+ Kids will both enjoy using these fun craft sticks!

Bentgo boxes- I LOVE these lunchbox containers. Super easy to wash, and the perfect size for toddlers. We use these for every zoo trip and outing that we have to pack our lunches for.

Portable CD Player + Head phones- We purchased a portable CD player and check out CDs and books on CD from the library for Sadie. She loves it!

Give, Save, Spend bank-What a perfect bank system for your kiddos that can teach them the importance of giving, saving, or spending their money! These would make an adorable gift.
